01 / The Origin of JB Method
The results were real. So was the cost.
I spent more than 15 years in professional cycling, where performance was measured in watts, seconds, contracts and results.
Those results proved what discipline, control and endurance could build. They did not show what those same strategies were costing the person producing them.
JB METHOD began with the need to understand that contradiction.

02 / The Record
I know what it takes to build the result.
For more than 15 years, I raced professionally across the WorldTour, Grand Tours and the Olympic Games. Power, weight, recovery, selection, contracts and results turned performance into daily evidence.
The discipline, preparation, pain tolerance and control behind those results were real capacities. I do not dismiss them now. They were part of what made me exceptional at what I did.
Every result gave the strategy behind it more authority.
Results show what the system can produce. They do not show what producing it costs.

Success can strengthen the strategy that is slowly making success more expensive to maintain.
04 / What I Had to Understand
The strategies that built my career had become the only ones I knew how to use.
Eventually, the cost became impossible to ignore. Injuries, exhaustion, shame, food and the constant need for control were not separate problems. They were connected by the state I had learned to treat as normal.
I had built capacity, but less range in how I could access it. More pressure brought more of the same: more tension, more control and more self-override.
The race did not create that state. It exposed the baseline I carried into it.
I did not need less ambition. I needed more than one way to organize under load.
Results prove output. They do not reveal the full cost.
A strong result can coexist with poor sleep, unstable recovery, physical tension, rigid behavior and a narrowing life.
What feels normal can still be dysfunctional.
Repeated tension, control and readiness can become invisible long before performance collapses.
Change has to remain available under demand.
A different feeling in one calm session matters only when more choice remains available through speed, fatigue, pain, uncertainty and consequence.
These lessons became the foundation of JB Method.

05 / Why JB Method Exists
JB Method began with a different question.
What if the result is not the best measure of how well the person producing it is functioning?
I began studying what performance changes in breathing, posture, muscle tone, movement, sensation, attention, behavior, sleep and recovery.
The method grew from learning to map the state a person starts from, change that baseline and test what remains available as demand rises.
I built a process for the gap that results could not explain.
Reliable Under Pressure is not constant calm. It is the ability to recognize, choose and adjust without losing access to what you have built.
06 / How I Work Now
Experience does not prove the method. It changes what I know to look for.
I do not assume that another athlete or leader has my story. I do know how easily a strong result can hide a narrowing baseline.
My job is to listen closely, map what is actually happening and test each decision against the person, the demand and the result.
I work with elite athletes and senior leaders whose capacity is already proven, but whose body, recovery, decisions or life are carrying more of the cost.
The role changes. The standard does not: the work has to produce usable change.
- 01
Listen before interpreting
The client's experience comes before my explanation.
- 02
Map before increasing load
We establish the starting state before testing demand.
- 03
Test instead of assuming
Every decision has to change something observable.
- 04
Build self-direction, not dependence
The client must learn to recognize, choose and adjust.

Jani has developed a method that is truly his own. It is the result of his experience as a person and a world-class athlete.
He understands the psychological, emotional and physical sides of performance. He listens, adapts the work to what is needed and combines real professionalism with a very human approach.
I have felt the benefits in my physical condition, emotional balance, daily life and sport results.
07 / Next Step
Start with the moment that is becoming less reliable or more expensive.
If performance still looks strong but sleep, recovery, decisions, relationships or life outside the role are carrying more of the cost, start there.
A complimentary 30-minute consultation is for context, fit and scope. We identify what keeps repeating, what it is costing and whether private work is the right next step.
Individual assessment, practices and personalized coaching begin inside paid work.
