Improving Sports performance with AEQ
Are you looking for a way to elevate your athletic performance to the next level without chronically exhausting your body and mind? Our online workshop for improving athletic performance using the AEQ Method® and AEQ Breathing® is designed for athletes and those striving for greater life energy, better physical performance, and a deeper connection with their bodies.
With the AEQ Method®, you’ll discover how proper movement, breathing, and a better understanding of your body’s functioning can help you achieve better results with less effort. The approach is designed to enhance the connection between the mind and body, enabling more efficient use of energy and better stress management—key elements for success in both sports and daily life.
Why the AEQ Method®?
As a former professional athlete, I learned from my own experience that more training does not always mean better results. After years of intense but inefficient work, I faced burnout, overtraining, an eating disorder, and chronic pain. Learning the AEQ Method® opened the door for me to realize that we need to establish a more balanced approach in both sports and life. Stubbornly pushing through and constantly facing overloads, without paying attention to the body’s signals, leads to long-term injuries, exhaustion, and even hopelessness.
The AEQ Method® is based on efficient movement and proper breathing, which are often forgotten foundations of athletic success. By recognizing and addressing neurological blocks or inefficient movement patterns, often hidden in the body due to past injuries, stress, or incorrect training, we can reduce tension and improve movement intelligence. This allows for greater ease of movement, faster recovery, and better overall physical performance.
Sports nutrition, recovery, and sleep—The Foundation of success
Your progress is not solely dependent on how many miles you run or how much weight you lift. Sports nutrition, quality sleep, and proper recovery are key building blocks of athletic performance that should not be overlooked. During the workshop, we will explore how the AEQ Method® can improve your metabolism and recovery through proper breathing and the reduction of chronic subconscious tension, which often hinders your ability to recover.
Regular quality sleep and proper nutrition ensure that the body adapts more easily to stress and effort, but a chronically tense body often prevents you from fully benefiting from these regenerative processes. The AEQ Method® will help you balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, improving your ability to relax after strenuous training and allowing for deep, restorative sleep.
What will you gain from the workshop?
More Energy and Vitality: You will learn proper breathing and movement patterns that will increase your efficiency. This means more energy for training and daily challenges, as well as greater inner strength to cope with stress.
-
Easier movement and greater performance: Chronic muscle tension and inefficient movement patterns are the main reasons for inefficient movement and quicker fatigue. With AEQ exercises, we will reduce tension, improve mobility, and allow the body to move with less effort.
-
Increased emotional balance: With the AEQ Method® and AEQ Breathing®, you will improve the balance between body and mind. Greater emotional maturity will allow you to better handle challenges in sports and personal life, preventing burnout and overtraining.
-
Better recovery and improved sleep: The AEQ Method® will enhance your ability to relax after strenuous training, positively impacting your recovery and improving the quality of your sleep. Better sleep means faster recovery and greater readiness for new challenges.
-
Injury prevention: By reducing chronic tension and improving movement patterns, you will lower the risk of injury and improve the long-term health of your body.
Who will lead the workshop?
The workshop will be led by Jani Brajkovič, a teacher of the AEQ Method® and a former professional cyclist with extensive experience in the world of elite sports. Through my athletic experiences, I learned the hard way how important proper movement, breathing, and holistic body care are. My passion is sharing knowledge that will help you improve your athletic performance and quality of life.
